Do’s and Don’ts
Thank you for raising money for Magic Moments. We are so grateful for your support, but would urge you to remember that the responsibility for your fundraising lies with you so please make sure you stay safe and legal!
If you intend to fundraise in a public place or door-to-door, you will need to apply for a licence from your local authority otherwise it is illegal.
If you intend to hold a competition, lottery or raffle, please be aware that there are rules and regulations you will need to adhere to. You can check these with the Gambling Commission.
Magic Moments is registered with the gambling commission so we need to ensure these details are published on every individual event.
Make sure your venue is safe and you have permission from the owners.
Be careful about security if you are carrying extra money around, pay any money in straight away.
