Inga Nair is our Assistant Branch Manager at our Felicity J Lord Shad Thames branch for our Lettings team. Just before Christmas, she decided to take on the Crystal Palace Half Marathon to raise money for Magic Moments.
Here is what Inga has to say:
If this dreaded pandemic has taught me one thing, it is that we are all connected! No matter who we are, were we live, and what our beliefs are, we are all connected as one large global community!
This means that it’s our duty to look out for each other. Try and be kind to one another. And if possible - try and bring a smile to the faces of those who may have lost hope.
I invite you to join me in such a mission that I am embarking on. To try and bring smiles (and giggles!) to the faces of children with life limiting illnesses by making their dream of visiting Disneyland Paris come true!
My employers, Felicity J Lord support an amazing children’s’ charity called : Magic Moments. Magic Moments Children’s Charity is dedicated to helping children with life limiting illnesses and their families. Their main aim is to take as many families to Disneyland Paris every year.
I will be running my first ever 15k and raise money for this amazing charity. Run will take place in Crystal Palace Park, Sunday 20th of March 2022, it will add additional challenge with its ups and downs!
I also aspire to inspire others to lead a healthy life and give more! True giving and happiness are deeply connected as they both come from a place deep within our souls. A gift, no matter how small or large, is something that is enjoyed twice!
I invite you to contribute to this beautiful cause and help in bringing smiles to these children’s faces who have unfortunately lost all hope. Each moment of happiness would mean the world to them.
