You might be thinking why I am saying that.. Well if like me you have overindulged at Christmas and watched to much TV then I have the perfect opportunity for you and your family to have fun and get fit and raise money for our fantastic charity. 

Join me and swim the equivalent of the English Channel for Magic Moments, you can do it on your own, as a branch, with your family or as a region, anyone can take part….

Well not the actual English channel, but the challenge is on to swim 22 miles to help raise money for our wonderful charity Magic Moments.

Magic Moments takes children with life-limiting illness’ and their families to Disneyland Paris. These families go through and endure a lot. By signing up today for the Magic Moments swimming challenge you can guarantee you’ll be making a difference. What’s even better, you’ll be having fun, keeping fit and de-stressing at the same time, sounds idea. So what’s involved…

The English channel would be a bit cold so what we want you to do is swim the distance of the channel, that’s a total of 22 miles, or 1320 lengths (based on the standard 25m pool) of your local swimming pool. You don’t have to do it alone, the challenge is achievable for all ages and fitness levels so you can get involved as an office, and don’t forget to get your children involved as well.  The challenge is designed to work in your own time at your own local pool.

You can do it over 3 months so lots of time to get the lengths in, it costs around £1,500 to send one family on the memory making trip to Disney I believe that our amazing Spicerhaart and extended Spicerhaart family can send a record number of families in 2019 to Disney.
